Diversity and equity aren't just buzzwords; they're essential components for fostering innovation, empathy, and growth in the professional world and beyond. We're excited to invite you to our upcoming DEI event, Diverse Perspectives, Equitable Solutions, on Wednesday, July 31 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Rae Loft. This event promises to be an inspiring and enriching evening dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within our community.

Hear from distinguished panelists including:

-André Walcott, Ph.D (Advantis, AVP of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion)
-Kaysha Duffy (OnPoint, Director of Impact)
-Mary Navarrete (PointWest, Director of Community Impact)
-Mauricio Soto (Embold, Community Involvement Specialist)

This formidable group of DEI trailblazers in our community will share their unique perspectives and experiences, providing valuable insights into creating equitable solutions in our industry.

Refreshments by BIPOC-owned local business, Charcuterie Me, will be provided, and there will also be time to network with other attendees and speakers. Your attendance with a $5 suggested donation will go on to benefit the Q Center, the largest LGBTQ+ community center in the Pacific Northwest—Q Center proudly serves the LGBTQ2SIA+ communities of Portland Metro and Southwest Washington. We believe this will be a fantastic opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and broaden your professional network, all while helping your community.

Connect with fellow young credit union professionals who share your passion for DEI, and don’t miss this chance to be part of a meaningful conversation and contribute to the progress within our own community.

We look forward to seeing you there and working together to create a more inclusive and equitable future!
