Vanessa has so much love for the city of Portland with it being her hometown. During her time here she has seen how the city has changed over the years, and it has allowed her to notice how small changes can have such a big impact, just like credit unions.

Beginning her career in the Credit Union world in 2017 with Point West Credit Union, she has learned so much from the various roles she has taken on. Vanessa has always been driven to learn and grow, as well as help those around her. The credit union philosophy of "people helping people" is what allowed her to continue to move up in her career and create a path that allowed her to be in the role she has always been passionate about.

As the Training Coordinator, Vanessa’s focus is coordinating the development and training of her team. She wants to ensure that her colleagues are equipped with the knowledge and skills to not only help members but feel confident in their career path and achieve their goals.

Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys gaming with friends, finding fun new crochet patterns, and trying new restaurants in this food paradise of a city.
